About Barbara Lewin Photography

A New York City-based professional singer and photographer, I take photographs to explore a visual form of improvisation.  I try to paint with my camera.  I'm always willing to be surprised, and look for the essence in what might be thought of as an ordinary object or scene.  Everywhere I look, I hope to find a new way into a subject.
